Making Space for Art
Jelly is an energetic charity championing the creative arts. We have played a strategic role in Reading’s cultural life since 1993 – enabling art to appear in unexpected places and creating opportunities for people to look on and join in. We believe in the power of the arts to delight, intrigue, challenge and enrich, and we’re committed to forming creative alliances and partnerships that encourage art and cultural life to flourish.

Acini

Founded in 2012 by Gemma Baker BA (Hons), Acini has developed from Gemma’s passion and interests in the arts and events industry. Gemma’s desire to work within the arts formed in her early years at Thames Valley University, where she studied for 3 years undertaking a 1st Diploma and National Diploma in Art and Design. These years were some of her best, shaping her artistic visions and boundaries. During her final year it became apparent that no matter how hard she tried to rebel against her natural tendency to organise and manage, she was destined to further her studies not within fine art but within event management, going on to achieve a degree in Arts and Event Management at the Arts University College at Bournemouth.
