Odd Comic

Odd Comic is the collaboration between Dot Howard and Holly Bodmer: cross-genre artists with a passion for the unconventional. They create observational, site-responsive, humorous performance for intimate audiences in unusual locations. Their work is deemed ‘high risk’ yet employs subject matter that resonates with most people.

Meeting as post-graduates at Dartington College of Arts, they have collaborated since 2009, performing at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Norwich Playhouse, Sprint, Sainsbury Centre for Visual Art, Firstsite, Warwick Arts Centre, The Lowry and Norwich Arts Centre.

Odd Comic regularly ‘guest waiter’ at Hunt & Darton Café and recently hosted ArtsAdmin’s ‘Work Experience’ at Toynbee Studios in London.

Odd Comic is currently devising a new performance ‘My Champion Heartache’ (launching in Autumn 2014).
